Questions / Schools and lessons

Is driving school worth it?
Good instruction can shorten the G1 wait through approved BDE, identify habits a family supervisor misses and help nervous learners practise safely. The value depends heavily on the instructor and whether you practise between lessons.
Make it practical
What to do
Use lessons to learn and diagnose; use supervised practice to repeat. Paying an instructor to watch you relearn the same right turn every week is an expensive subscription.
Easy to miss
The common trap
Expecting ten in-car hours to replace regular practice.
Turn knowledge into a habit
How to practise it
Ask the same written questions of two or three approved providers. Comparable answers reveal far more than a star score floating without context.
When a rule, road sign or examiner instruction conflicts with an internet tip, use the official rule and the safe decision. The internet has many talents; wearing a reflective examiner vest is not one of them.
