Safety-critical errors

An examiner may end or fail a test after a dangerous action, traffic-law violation, collision, intervention, or loss of control. Examples include running a red light, failing to yield, speeding significantly or forcing another road user to react.

Small errors can add up

One imperfect park is not automatically the end. Repeated weak observation, late signalling, poor lane position or speed drift can accumulate. Recover calmly and keep driving safely.

The best prevention

Narrating every rule in your head can overload you. Build repeatable routines—mirrors, signal, blind spot; full stop, scan, proceed—then practise them in varied traffic.

Use the official rule for the final word.
