Check the vehicle the day before
A test vehicle must be safe and legal. Inspect it early enough to fix a problem.
- Working brake lights, signals, horn and headlights
- Readable plates and valid registration/insurance
- Sound tires with no warning signs
- Clear windshield, mirrors and working wipers
- Seat belts, doors and parking brake
- Enough fuel or charge
Bring what DriveTest requires
Bring your current licence, the confirmation details you have, corrective lenses if required and any documents DriveTest specifies for your situation. Arrive early, but use the exact check-in guidance from your centre.
Use the official rule for the final word.
