Adjust to conditions
Posted limits are maximums for good conditions. In rain, snow or low visibility, leave more space, slow smoothly and avoid abrupt steering or braking.
Prepare the car
Clear every window, mirror, light and the roof. Use appropriate tires, washer fluid and working defrosters. If conditions or official closures make the test unsafe, rely on DriveTest’s notices—not rumours.
